The Goal of this position is to provide broad support for all operating units/brands and across multiple marketing disciplines with a concentration in hands-on digital marketing implementation. The Digital & Marketing Specialist will take part in the planning/calendarization, creative design, copywriting, creation, implementation, and follow-up reporting of campaigns, programs, promotions, and initiatives for all brands. Exposure and impact will span all areas of digital marketing including customer relationship management (CRM), email, performance marketing, mobile app, business listings, website, and social media including working with platforms like Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suite. This position will also have the opportunity to dynamically support other areas of Marketing including Field Marketing and Brand Marketing. Attention to detail and process, with the flexibility, endurance, and receptivity for change to contribute to the bigger picture of business or department objectives will be critical to the success of the role. Responsibilities and tasks will require frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Facilities, and Training, in addition to all Marketing department verticals, interacting with all levels of employees from hourly to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Reporting and General Marketing Support
- Collaborate on reporting and performance dashboards to monitor campaign results across multiple communication channels and synthesize insights
- Coordinate campaign assets, timelines, and approvals across departments and vendors for various channels and campaigns
- Research digital trends, tools, and competitive activity to support innovation and propose improvements or enhancements to department efforts
- Provide graphic design and copywriting support for department initiatives, adhering to brand content and visual guidelines
- Support events and special projects across other marketing verticals like Field Marketing and Brand Marketing as needed
- Salesforce CRM, Email and SMS Communication Support
- Participate in the planning of email and SMS communications, including maintaining a calendar of planned activity
- Participate in the creation of key automations and monitor performance post-deployment to ensure maximum efficacy and optimize as needed
- Create and deploy email and SMS communication according to industry best practices and monitor performance to optimize current and future activity
- Website Management and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Gain familiarity with the website content management system (CMS) in order to execute site design and UX adjustments in collaboration with IT
- Manage updates to website content for company or business programs and initiatives and to improve user experience
- Collaborate on SEO efforts and execute appropriate adjustments or recommendations
- Mobile App and Business Listings Management Support
- Maintain business listings by updating information, scheduling posts and announcements, uploading photos, and contributing to reviews management
- Support mobile app programming and communication initiatives by creating assets, copywriting, and working directly in the platform to deploy

- Self-starter with a service/support mentality and the ability to work quicky and accurately, both independently and in a team environment
- Organized working approach with strong attention to detail, process, and follow-through
- Interest in, passion for, or first-hand experience with CRM platforms, principles, strategies, and best practices
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing discipline preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a corporate digital marketing type role with a focus in digital marketing disciplines, or a combination of experience and digital marketing certifications (Inbound, Google, etc.)
- Positive, resilient, organized and detailed with ability to manage multiple projects and frequently-changing priorities and/or timelines, and time-constraints
- Thorough and effective communicator, providing status updates and leading check-ins as needed to ensure on-time and on-brand delivery
- Intermediate copywriting and graphic design skills, including experience with design platforms like Canva
- Familiarity with SEO, website CMS tools, Google Analytics, local search, Meta Business Suite, social media monitoring and CRM systems
- A desire to understand the shifting search landscape as it relates to AI (generative engine optimization)
- Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a strong plus
