The Director, Business Technology is responsible for leading enterprise technology initiatives and strengthening alignment between Operations and IT across the organization. This role oversees cross-functional technology programs, supports governance and administration of enterprise systems, and ensures technology platforms are effectively implemented, adopted, and managed in support of business objectives. Working closely with operational leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, the Director, Business Technology drives execution of strategic initiatives, improves operational efficiency, and helps ensure enterprise systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational standards.

Technology Program & Project Leadership

  • Lead enterprise technology initiatives, including POS modernization and systems rollouts across corporate and field operations
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communication
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution between Operations, Facilities, IT, Finance, Marketing, and external vendors
  • Ensure technology initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives
  • Drive organizational readiness, change management, and field adoption for major technology initiatives

Business Technology & Operational Alignment

  • Serve as a strategic liaison between Operations and IT to align business needs with technology solutions
  • Translate operational challenges into actionable system and process improvements
  • Partner with department leaders to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and technology optimization
  • Support prioritization of technology initiatives based on operational impact and business value

Enterprise Systems Governance & Administration

  • Support governance and operational oversight of enterprise technology platforms and SaaS applications
  • Maintain visibility into system ownership, access management, licensing, and platform utilization
  • Partner with IT and Security teams to ensure systems are managed securely and consistently
  • Assist in establishing standards for user provisioning, deprovisioning, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and vendors to support system configuration, administration, and issue resolution

Vendor Management & Technology Operations Support

  • Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and implementation partners
  • Coordinate issue escalation and resolution across internal teams and external vendors
  • Assist in evaluating new technologies, platforms, and service offerings
  • Support operational governance processes including documentation, workflows, and reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across enterprise technology operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of car wash experience; multi-unit experience a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of car wash operations, POS operations and project management
  • Experience presenting to groups
  • Able to travel some (up to 15%)
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Able to sit for long periods
